Do Gays support Kathy Griffin even though she's a handicapist bigot?

Isn't a bigot just a bigot? I think she uses gays as her cause celebre then shows her true colors by mocking people with mental disease or brain trauma or autism or alzheimers as "f_cktards". Don't you think she just caters to gays because it's popular and they bring advertising dollars, whereas helpless handicapped people do not? Do you find her bashing the most vulnerable citizens in our society, "funny"?
