If swine flu was a new strain, how come they had all the vacines ready?

It's impossible to manufacture 100% proof vaccines. If pharmaceutical companies come up with 80-90 % targeting vaccines, good enough. But there never has been one 100% proof flu vaccines, just humanly impossible task unless some private labs can produce several kinds continuously, but can we receive several vaccines per winter, we might get sick, although the virus are dead, but pretty potent. That's why a small % of people with vaccination still catch a flu.
