Why are American politicians scared from Israel/ Zionists?

I never believed that charge before, but now that I see the President doesn't want to be photographed with them, that he(the pres.} may indeed be a Muslim. And did you know we now are prohibited from calling muslims, sworn to kill us all, from terms such as the "evil empire"?
