Which laptop to buy for Architecture?

so its going to be my boyfriends 21st birthday and hes going on to his 2nd year in architucture i want to buy him a laptop because i think its going ot be very useful for him. i dont know which would be a good one to buy? any ideas? something that will run all those programs like auto cad they use
