Present Perfect in Swedish?

I wouldn't say it's common. "De �r samma i 50 �r" sounds a bit weird, it sounds more like something will be the same for 50 years, you don't really get from the context that you're talking about the past. I would use "Det har varit samma i 50 �r", sounds a lot better :) hope this helped!
