I'm going to europe soon and i need advice about oddjobs.?

basically i'm going to europe and im gonna have to work oddjobs to be able to pay the hostel so where should i work ( e.g. restruaunt as a waiter) how should i go about getting the job (e.g. application, walkin interview etc.) and how much do you think i may make?
