Traveking to DC. Looking for things to do.?

I am going to be in DC from Jan 14th to Jan 25th. I will be there for work with several other co-workers. We are looking for womethinf to do other than the normal White House, Pentagon, monuments, and memorials. Can anyone suggest something that we can do, that we will always remember? Something that is a "must do" while in DC?
